Rainwater Harvesting

Catching rainwater in a vessel is an ancient practice that is now making a come back for very practical reasons. Whether you live in a dry climate or not collecting rainwater from a roof or other flat surface and storing it in a cistern, tank or barrel for future use is easy and smart.

Depending on where you live you’ll find there are different reasons to collect rainwater.

To use as an alternate water source

To reduce municipal water use

To use as only water source

To help reduce flooding

To help reduce runoff

To use as a water source during the dry season
