It's So Simple to Make Your Own Soda!

Sleek and stylish, the home soda maker is a countertop appliance about the size of a coffee maker that transforms water into fresh, fizzy seltzer/sparkling water at the push of a button. Soda makers operate without batteries, electricity or plumbing, so they are simple to use in a kitchen and great for bringing along on a boat, RV or to a second home. Making seltzer and soda takes just seconds and requires no clean-up.
A reusable, one-liter carbonating bottle (provided by SodaStream) is filled with water and screwed into the machine fitting. A CO2carbonator, housed inside the soda maker, adds carbonation at the touch of a button – as much or as little as the consumer prefers. After carbonating the water, the soda drinker simply adds a capful from one of over 25 soda mix flavors to make his or her favorite, great-tasting soda.
SodaStream is the global leader of in-home carbonation. Over the past decade, SodaStream’s home soda makers and soda-making accessories have been sold to over 8 million households in 30 countries around the world. In fact, it is estimated that over 600 million liters of water are carbonated with SodaStream systems worldwide each year.

Four easy steps to making your own soda.
Step 1
Fill the bottle to the indicated line with water

Use tap water straight from the facet, filtered tap water or large capacity bottled water (for people who can not consume their local water)
Step 2
Place the bottle in the machine
It’s best to hold it on the bottom with your dominant hand and screw the bottle into place to create an air tight seal.
Step 3
Press the top button bar

The system does not use electricity. All you need to do is press the plunger on the top of the machine 3-5 times in 1-2 second intervals. You’ll be able to see the gas go into the water. When the machine “chirps” you know you have pressed enough and the bottle can be removed.
Step 4
Your done!
You can drink the carbinated seltzer water as is is or add syrup that you buy from the company or you can squeeze in juice from half a lime or lemon or other juice.
